Do you love lattes but don't want to take out a second mortgage for Starbucks? This is such an amazing latte maker! I had no idea I could have freshly brewed lattes at home! It is just as easy as coffee to make now! It's not huge and looks handsome on my kitchen counter. It actually takes up less space than my Keurig. Mr. Coffee also included recipes for many delicious types of lattes and hot chocolate!
Step 1 - Fill the water reservoir which has lines for you to make 1 or 2 cups
Step 2 - For 2 cups I use 5-6 tablespoons of espresso (finely ground) and add to the filter
Step 3 - Fill the carafe with milk (I use whole milk for a creamier froth)
Step 4 - Close the lid, and make sure it's on brew and froth, and lower the lever
Step 5 - Wait approximately 5 minutes and it's done.
For the perfect latte, I always add a squeeze of caramel. The recipes say to add it right to the carafe but when I did that I didn't get much froth, so I add it to my cup instead. And there you have an amazing latte! Other reviewers have said you can also use this to make regular coffee, but I love the lattes so much I haven't tried it this way. I have nothing negative to say about this at all. It's perfect!
